Like they say, you gotta start somewhere.

Last night was my first ever public performance as Rizik and it couldn’t have been more fitting to share my early work amongst friends in an intimate setting, ironically in my prior home. The idea to play Shelby’s Friendsgiving came as a proving point to myself. Do I really want to be an artist? Am I ready? Well, I wasn’t “ready” a week ago - but I think that’s the key. Begin BEFORE you are ready. Employ tactically applied pressure and force yourself to adapt; sink or swim.

Now... I am ready. Ready to give myself to my art, and my art to others.

No turning back now.
